Bullet-resistant films have become a popular security upgrade for homes, schools, and businesses. Promoted as a simple way to turn ordinary glass into a protective barrier, these films often promise to stop bullets and prevent dangerous shards from spreading during attacks. Marketing demonstrations typically show a hammer or even a firearm hitting a window, and the glass appears to remain intact. These visuals create a strong sense of security , encouraging viewers to believe that a relatively low-cost solution can protect them from extreme threats. Despite the impressive demonstrations, these films are not a foolproof shield against gunfire or other high-impact attacks. The term “bullet-resistant” itself can mislead consumers into thinking they are investing in bulletproof protection, which is not the case.
